Sage essential oil is derived from the steam distilled leaves of the Salvia officinalis herb. It has a lot of medicinal properties such as anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and anti-microbial. It is also used for cosmetics and aromatherapy.

How to use:

For aromatherapy, place 2-3 drops of sage essential oil in the diffuser.

For skin application, dilute 6 drops of sage essential oil in a 1oz. carrier oil like coconut oil before rubbing to your skin. You can also apply directly onto a wounded area. Add 3-5 drops to bathwater to soothe sore muscles and improve mood.

For oral, just add 1 drop of 100% essential oil to your drink or food for a soothing effect.

Important: Always do a skin patch test to know you don’t have any allergic reactions. Be careful not to ingest too much of essential oils, always consult your doctor first.
